Paint Splash

No Place Like Home?

A very artistic family temporarily moved to the north side of Fort Worth.

To say the neighbors weren’t thrilled is an understatement.

Local artist, Jerrel Sustaita, made a “commando-style painting” in front of Billy Bob’s, one of the most historic landmarks in Fort Worth. This is after he carried a sofa through the streets of the Stockyards to help spread the word about WorthGoing.com. Some of his closest friends moved the rest of the living room set, which included a coffee table, rug, end table and lamp.

There was no TV, though…Sustaita provided the entertainment in one of the purest “Attacks” to date.

One volunteer called it “a spontaneous combustion of creativeness.”

  1. Had a great time and would gladly do it again! Although, I would have to talk it over with my arms first. Thanks Arts Council

Way to get out there and attack the masses. I am sure this will only grow as you gain momentum! Keep attacking, you never know who will join the ranks!

  3. [...] second Art Attack of the campaign. He got back in the saddle after his first Art Attack – “Couch Potato” – ran into some resistance in the Stockyards. [View with PicLens] [...]
